Spicy Dill Pickles

 

Spears of fresh refrigerated brine goodness!

These dill pickles are so good.  You will ask…Where have these been all my life.  After years of canning pickles for my family I decided a good old refrigerator pickle was the ticket.  Thumbing through all the dill recipes I have used over the years I tested some out.  Changed a few things and whaa…la!  Simple yet flavorful, this dill pickle will be a seasonal product using Oregon cucumbers this summer.  So when they hit market you will want to snag yourself a jar, or two, or ten!

Favorite ways to enjoy these products:  On the side of anything!  Add diced pickle and brine to deviled eggs,potato or pasta salad.  Heck take a swig of brine after a shot of spirits.

Cucumbers, dill weed, dill seed, garlic, spices, peppercorns, habanero peppers, red chili peppers, white vinegar, water, sugar, salt, citric acid, calcium chloride
